new to Lifan engines what’s the deal?

I just stumbled upon Lifan engines and realized I don't really know much about them. I haven't heard of the brand before. How are they in terms of reliability, performance, and parts availability? I'd love to hear from anyone who's had expereince with them

Lifan engines are decent for their price and reliable enough for small bikes and scooters, their performance's okay but not top-tier and parts can be hit or miss depending on your location, what's got you curious?

Lifan engines reliable enough for light use, with decent performance and good parts availability. Many Honda parts fit, but quality varies, so regular maintenance is encouraged

Solid takes from you both. Those engines are pretty reliable for easy rides and lighter tasks. I've come across several builds that used them and didn't hear any significant complaints. That said, finding parts can be a challenge, depending on your location. What bike or project do you have in mind for putting one in?
