Lifan LF50QGY parts source and gear confusion

I bought a used 2010 Lifan LF50QGY, and I wanna track down a few cosmetic parts after I accidentally... rode it hard. Anyone have experience ordering from retrobikes.com or another site that actually carries Lifan parts? Also, the bike is listed as a 3-speed semi-auto, but I swear I'm shifting into a fourth gear while riding. Could it be mislabeled or is that common with these small displacement bikes?

I haven't tried retrobikes.com, but they seem legit for smaller brands. As for the gears, some Lifan 50s do have an extra hidden gear or a neutral between shifts, it can feel like a 4th gear even if its listed as 3 speed. Might be worth double checking the manual or asking a Lifan forum!

With bikes like the Lifan LF50QGY, it's not uncommon for the spec sheet to say one thing and the engine to do another...half the time, these small imports come with mystery transmissions no one fully documents

I think I may have seen some eBay listings for this model's spares. Yep @oldking56 is right about the gearbox, some 50cc Lifan engines are actually 4-speed semi-autos despite being labeled as 3-speed
